Starburst

The strings continue to star as their very fast-paces sounds take us to a sweeping conclusion in New Yorker Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst. The piece, written for string orchestra, is a one movement introduction to her debut album which combines classical chamber music with elements of folk and spiritual tunes as well as improvisation and poetry.
